Product Overview

Ideal for primary AAC block construction across residential, commercial, and industrial sites, this product ensures superior bonding and durability. It’s perfect for block jointing in high-humidity zones like kitchens, washrooms, and exteriors. Additionally, it replaces conventional mortar to reduce wall thickness and material waste, while also serving effectively for pointing and minor crack repairs when mixed with AAC grit.

Application Procedure

Prior Check

  • Ensure surfaces are clean, free of loose material, oil, grease, fungus or moss.
  • Confirm the substrate is dry, sound and not debonded from its backing.

Procedure

  1. Apply a minimum thickness of 1 mm Terrashield Bond on both sides of the brick and over the base using a comb blade.
  2. Paste the bricks one over the other and allow to dry.
  3. Wall can be erected continuously up to a height of 3 meters.
  4. For extra strength, affix conduits with Terrashield Bond instead of cement mortar.

Notes

The material must be applied to a thickness of 1 mm on the surface. If applied thickly, Terrashield Bond (super polymerized bond) may ooze out from joints or contact points. For flyash brickwork, sandwich mesh between two layers of Terrashield Plaster as required.
