Terrashield Fine

By JPL Innovations Pvt. Ltd.

Elastomeric • Fire-retardant • Hydrophobic

Terrashield Fine is a high-performance plaster that ensures superior strength, fire-retardant properties, eco-friendliness, and water resistance. It is directly paintable — saving time and cost by eliminating putty and primer requirements.

Product Overview

Ideal for Mivan, Pre-cast, Gypsum, RCC, AAC blocks, and drywall surfaces. Terrashield Fine delivers a seamless, hydrophobic surface that performs under harsh conditions while improving the overall finish for subsequent paint systems.

Surface is paint-ready within 96 hours after the second coat under normal drying conditions.

Smooth surface ready for premium emulsions and textures.
Anti-Fungal
Prevents surface deterioration in damp conditions.

Application Procedure

Prior Check

  • Ensure substrate is free from dust, chalking, grease, algae, fungus, and loose particles.
  • Check substrate integrity — it should not be debonded and must be completely dry.

Steps

  1. Apply Terrashield Fine with a roller or trowel in 2 coats (max combined thickness 2mm recommended per coat).
  2. Allow the first coat to dry for 6–8 hours before applying the second coat.
  3. Remove excess material vertically and horizontally for a smooth finish; use 45 GSM nylon mesh for joints if needed.
  4. Surface is paint-ready within 96 hours after the second coat.

Special Notes

For AAC blocks, drywall joints, and mivan joints, embed 45 GSM nylon mesh between coats. For interiors, use Premium Emulsion and for exteriors, use Anti-Fungal Emulsion.
